Homeopathic Drainage

Biotherapeutic drainage is a system that effectively accomplishes detoxification with few healing crises and aggravations. Biotherapeutic drainage detoxifies the body by opening the emunctories and discharging the toxic accumulations. Emunctories are organs of elimination. These include the liver, kidneys, skin, gastrointestinal system, and lung.

When a delicate balance of incoming information, substances, or events is not established or maintained in the body, disease develops, often with a presentation of physical signs and symptoms. Drainage helps to establish and maintain balance in the body.

Classical homeopathy was founded on looking for patterns between the collection of signs and symptoms of the patient and the collection of signs and symptoms that were noted during the experimental administration of a strong dose of a substance to a healthy person.

Drainage remedies permit drainage of congested organs that have lost part of their function. Deep cleansing action allows them to enhance the enzyme systems to return tissues to their primary function that is essential for the return to health.

Drainage remedies:

  • assure the optimal function of the liver, kidney and natural emunctories (intestine,s skin, lungs, bladder and the mucuc membranes of he stomach, pancreas and genitalia),
  • move free toxins towards the natural emunctories
  • assure a normalized function of the glandular systems and manage functional stresses
  • by regular repetition of the numbers, detoxify organs and rechare the enzyme systems
  • cause profound modification of the internal environment ("terrain") of the patient.

Combination drainage remedies are composed of substances which have traditionally been used for specific organs or tissues.

One of the cornerstones of biotherapeutic drainage treatment is the use of UNDA Numbers. The 76 UNDA Numbers are a unique combination of anthroposophical principles, metallurgy knowledge from old alchemists, the principles of classical Chinese medicine and homeopathy.

The formulation of theUNDA numbers is credited to George Discri, Dr. Louis Reuter, a descendent from Hahnemann, and Dr. Anthoine Nebel, in Switzerland during the 1920s and 1930s.

Many practitioners today find their cases increasingly complex and unresponsive to single classical remedies. This may be due to increased toxicity in the populations. The UNDA numbers clear toxicity.

Also, other medicines work much more effectively, at lower doses, once drainage remedies have been used.

Along with UNDA numbers, we also use...

Oligotherapy was developed by Dr. Jacques Menetrier and uses small concentrations of minerals rather than larger doses used in nutritional supplements. By using trace quantities of minerals in an ionic solution, oligotherapy affects the enzymatic process. This allows them to be absorbed directly into the bloodstream sublingually, and to be used immediately for catalytic activity.

Gemmo therapy was developed by Dr. Pol Henry, a French physician and homeopath in the 1900s. It uses macerates of fresh buds, leaves, rootlets, roots, bark, shoots and sap during the growing stage, using embryonic tissue. More of the active principles of a plant can be obtained in this form, making the medicines more active. Gemmos have been described as a mix between Bach flower remedies and homeopathics.
